To be perfectly honest, I really didn't know anything about Martha Wainwright before reading this book, besides the assumption that she must be from the famous musical family but since I love a good music memoir, I picked it up quickly. I did listen to her music throughout the reading of this memoir and it was good background. She definitely doesn't flinch from telling about her music career, relationships or wild behavior. Sometimes it did feel as if she was settling some scores with the stories that she told but I still appreciated her openness. I received a digital ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
