I have previously read other works by Michael Farquhar
and I enjoy the irreverent view of history that he presents. While still narrating the lives of the
Russian tsars, he adds amusing commentary on their scandalous lifestyles and raucous
behavior. This book makes history fun
and I did walk away with a memorable education of Russian history. I received this book from NetGalley in
exchange for an honest review.
